GT4 Silver Champions at Brands Hatch

With the arrival of Brands Hatch, marks the final race weekend of the hard fought championship. Both the Overall GT Championshio, and Silver Honours were up fro grabs, with a fine points margin seperating the two title front runners.

There was an eeriness to Brands Hatch, knowing that everything was riding on this final race. Tensions rose as Qualifying got underway, which saw the the Forsetti Vantage secure P3 for the start of the final race of the series, with the overall title contenders on Pole, setting the scene for what was going to be an incredible close, edge of your seat dash to the finish.

As the lights went green for one final time, the #7 car, first piloted by Jamie Day, managed to get the jump on the leading McLaren with a multiple lap battle that kept the heart in the mouth for the duration. After pit stops and a Safety Car that did not play to our advantage, the #90 McLaren took the overall GT4 Championship. But not all was lost for Mikey and Jamie, though, a strong fight in their class meant they secured the GT4 Silver Championship title!

To come away from a highly competitive debut season with yet another Championship Title under their belts, marks a promising start for Mikey as he sets out on his journey to reach the top flight of GT racing.

The Season overall was a huge success! As we head into the winter season, the hard work continues with some very exciting opportunities on the horizon… it wont be long until we’re back on track again soon!
