A Podium At Spa Francorchamps

Time flies when you’re having fun! With the arrival of the much anticipated Spa-Francorchamps race weekend, the British GT Championship, reaches its half way point.

Pre-Qualifying and FP2 sessions were both cut short due to incidents, adding some unknowns to the weekend. As a result, the starting grid was determined by a combination of Pre-Qualifying and Qualifying times, placing the #7 car in a challenging P13 starting position. Although the race plan needed adjustment, the team remained optimistic, knowing a strong finish was still within reach.

Race Day arrived, and with the race only underway for a few laps, a collision between a number of GT3 cars ahead, led to a Safety Car deployment, pausing the action temporarily. Once the race resumed, Jamie took full advantage of the restart, skilfully climbing positions and gaining valuable ground . With a well-timed pit stop, strategy and precision on track, Mikey later crossed the finish line in an impressive P3 overall for the GT4 class and secured P1 in the Silver category.

With only three rounds left, the team’s position in the Championship battle remains solid, and the focus is on maintaining this momentum for the final few weeks of the season.
