Success at Snetterton

The British GT Championship returns to Snetterton for Rounds 6 & 7 of the series!

Following a promising day of testing on Friday before the weekend, both Mikey & Jamie were able to comfortably top the time sheets, setting the tone for what was set to be a successful weekend in the Norfolk countryside.

During Qualifying 1, Mikey delivered an impressive performance that secured him a P2 starting position, finishing a close 0.003 seconds off the pole position. With teammate, Jamie, following suit in the second group of Qualifying, achieving a respectable P6 start with both drivers times combined. With such a close qualifying round, it was clear that we were set for a challenging race.

This event featured two 60-minute races, and as expected, both were filled with intense racing. After being handed a Success Penalty owing to their podium finish at the previous race meeting at Spa-Francorchamps, the challenge was made all the more difficult, but undeterred by the challenge, the boys soldiered on and managed to punch in two stand out performances across the two races.

Mikey showcased impressive race craft throughout the weekends running, ultimately helping to clinch P2 in each race. Due to their consistent performance across the weekend by both Mikey and Jamie, they were able to retake the championship lead as they head into the final two races of the season.
